Bra-blems? Then this is for you!

Okay ladies, this post is for you (and I'm sure every single one of you can relate to this!).
There is no better feeling than go home after a long day and finally be able to take off your bra.  And let me tell you, the other day, I was having one of those days when you bra just don't suit you well and it feels so tight and it hurts and arghh! So that's why I'm here today to share with  you guys my bra-blems and I'm giving you solutions for them :)

Ok so let's get started, shall we? :)

One big problem that girls/women have is that they actually don't know their real bra-size. I admit, I did buy wrong size bras just because I did not know how to measure my size or I was too afraid to ask. But ladies, really, don't be afraid to ask help when you are going to buy bras, you will see the difference when you are actually wearing the right size! It looks and feels so different. And if you are too shy to go and ask help, you can measure it by your self! :)

Another thing that annoys me more than anything is slipping straps. Especially when you are wearing a top and you can feel your strap slipping away from your shoulder and everyone can see it, its so annoying! But there is a simple solution for this one as well; you can actually tighten them up .  I admit, sometimes I'm too lazy to do this but it actually helps :D But don't put them too tight, then they will push your bra up and then again it won't feel very comfortable!

And  i realized not so long ago that if you are suffering from bra gaps ( the gap between your bra and breast ) it can actually help you to get rid off it if you tighten up your straps! At least it helped me and I was like "why didn't I figured this out earlier?!?!" :DD  Also one thing I noticed is that if you are wearing a push-ups that will help you a little bit with the bra gap.

Here is a little guide for you created by ThirdLove with some problems and solutions for all kind of bra-blems! :) If you are looking for a new bra, check out their bra collections page!

Let me know in the comment box if you are suffering any of these problems as well and how have you managed to cope with them! :)

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

Good morning people! :)

How are you all doing? My life has been pretty crazy for the past month or so. Last month I had my holiday and I went to Finland to see my friends and family. I stayed there only for one week, which was too short time period to see everyone and I felt like I was all the time in a rush, so it defo was not a relaxing holiday ( I didn't even have time for proper shopping spree!) but I don't complain. I got to see my love ones so that was all that mattered. And I lost one day because I was supposed to  fly with Lufthansa and they cancelled my first flight due to their stupid strike so I had to reroute my trip.

After I came back I have been stuck with work and studying. Thank god my exams are now over and I have time to relax a bit from studying until next semester which starts in January :p

And oh my god, Christmas is already next week!! I am not ready at all haha. I mean, the thing is, in Cyprus, no matter how much Christmas music you listen, no matter how much decorations you see, it just doesn't feel like Christmas, to be honest. I've been spending my Christmas here since 2009 and I do miss Christmas in Finland. There is different feeling, and I don't know. I really hope next year I am able to spend my Christmas in there. But at least I can bake some gingerbread cookies, maybe then it will feel more Christmas :p

Anyways, I'm off to work soon so I need to finish my breakfast and then get ready!

1 Nov 2015

November 1st

I can't believe it's already November. It feels like summer was yesterday and now it's suddenly almost Christmas time and the end of 2015. This month is gonna be so good since I will be going home to Finland to visit my friends and family! So excited!

The weather in Cyprus has changed suddenly from hot to warm. I know, I know, +24 is not that bad but if you are used for +32 every day, it really feels quite cold !And I have been sick for the past few days and hopefully I will be soon fully recovered! I'm having sick leave until tomorrow and then 2 days off so that means I am gonna be full of energy (hopefully) for the rest of the week!

I know it's been too long since I've posted so I decided to treat you with an outfit post (also because for once I actually had some good photos that I can share with you guys and enough time to blog!! ) so I hope you enjoy!

Also, there was one teeny-tiny creature who was spying on us! Meet little baby Blackie :)

Sweatshirt: H&M
Jeans: Stradivarius
Shoes: Stradivarius

Hope your having a good, relaxing Sunday! I'm gonna go to make some tea now and relax (as I've been doing all day long)

Yummy fall time recipe : Apple pie with oats

Hello friends!

Ok so just because it's not even fall yet here in Cyprus that doesn't mean that I cannot be in "fall mood". I decided to make my very own apple pie today, but just so it wouldn't be just a basic apple pie I added some oats as well! This was really easy to make (except for me the part where you have to peel the apples, because I usually don't peel them) and it tastes amazing!

Hope you enjoy this recipe and if you try let me know if this recipe was success or no ! :)

Ingredients

100 g of  soft butter
1 egg
1½ dl of oats
½ dl of sugar
1½ dl of flour
1 tsp of baking powder
--
2-3 apples

For the oat topping:

50 g of butter
½ dl of sugar
1 tsp of  vanllinsugar
1½ dl of oats

Note: For the oats I just used normal Quakers! :) So basically you can use any oats you want.

1. Preheat the oven 200 degrees Celsius
2. Mix the butter, egg, oats, sugar, flour and baking powder together.
3. Press the dough into a round pie dish using a little bit of flour ( if the dough feels sticky, flour will help to make it less stickier and easier to use)

4. Peel your apples and cut them into pieces. Add them on top of the dough (try to put them as flat as you can).

5. And now the oat topping. Melt the butter in a pan. Take it off the heat and add sugar ad oats.
6. Sprinkle the mixture evenly on top of the pie

7.Put the pie into an oven and bake it approximately for 25 minutes.

Enjoy the pie with custard sauce or vanilla ice cream (unfortunately I didn't have neither)

A year later

Hi guys! :)

Ok so today it has been exactly one year since I left my job, packed my bags, left Finland and moved to Cyprus. And I have to say, I was afraid at first. I was afraid that nothing goes as I had planned and I have to move back. But now, things are great. I mean they are really great. I am studying to be an accountant, I am working in a great place and I have really nice apartment and boyfriend who I can always count on.

This year has thought me a lot. A lot about myself, a lot about Cyprus and the way things roll in here. And I'm not quite sure if I like the way things are done here but at least I can say I'm happy. Of course I miss home, I miss my family and my friends but I would not wanna go back to Finland. Nah. But I'm not sure either if I'm going to spend the rest of my life here in Cyprus either. We will see. I'm still young, but at first I would like to finish my studies here and then see where the world takes me.

Before I moved they said it will be hard. Hard to find job, hard to be on your on so far away from everything I am used to. But hey. I have proved everyone who have ever doubt me wrong. It took me less than 2 months to get my first job in here. It took me 4 months to find a good apartment. And it didn't take so long when I decided I wanted to change a job to get another one (which was one of the greatest decision I have made so far because I really enjoy my new job). Everything is possible if you just really want to. And yes I admit things wouldn't be this good if I hadn't have all the help from great people I have in my life but still, I have fought to be in a position that I am right now. And I really love my life.

So my advise; believe in yourself. Believe that you can make it and you will. Dream. Because believing in your dreams will get you far if you are just ready to fight for them!

How to "lighten up" your bedroom

Heyyy friends!

Ok so I know that in most countries summer is almost (or already) over but here in Cyprus it's still really hot outside and there's no sing of autumn! And because I've been trying to survive my really hot summer nights I was all on board when Parachute asked me to share some of my tips on how to make your hot nights easier! I hope you enjoy! :)

The first thing I do before I go to bed is to open my air condition. And because I have three little cats living with me, so opening up my windows is not a question (did that once, woke up and my cats were sitting outside my window, luckily they didn't fell down!). I usually just open it for 30 minutes before I sleep just so that my room feels cooler.

Sheets from here: Parachute

It's also very important to have light sheets because it will make you feel more cooler than with winter sheets. Also I got rid of my duvet so I am just sleeping with cover sheet. ( You can also put your sheets in the freezer for a little while before you go to bed but just don't forget them :p) Parachute has some really nice sheets for summer time (and for the autumn time as well for you guys who live in colder countries).

Candles from here : Parachute

I also tend to have my shutters closed so that the sun wont get in and make my room even hotter. Lightning up a fresh candle makes your air feel fresh too and it's always nicer to go to sleep with fresh air! Also I do have a glass of water or bottle next to me just in case I feel thirsty (also water makes you feel cooler ! )

Picture from here : Parachute

So here are few tips that I find very useful, what about you? Do you have some secret tips on how you survived hot summer nights? :)

What would I wear if I had all the money in the world (Fall edition)

Hey hey hey!

Ok so I know it's still August and at least here in Cyprus this week has been one of the hottest weeks this year (yesss on Monday and Tuesday temperatures were higher than 40 degrees Celsius!) butt I couldn't help my self to start looking for a little fall fashion inspirations and what I would be wearing this fall. And the thing is we really don't have fall here in Cyprus, so I'll be wearing my shorts until late October and maybe in December I can finally get my hoodies and sweatshirts and boots out of my closet ! But as I said, this heat has really made me miss fall time :(

Anws here are few sets I created using Polyvore, what I would wear for:
