How to "lighten up" your bedroom

Heyyy friends!

Ok so I know that in most countries summer is almost (or already) over but here in Cyprus it's still really hot outside and there's no sing of autumn! And because I've been trying to survive my really hot summer nights I was all on board when Parachute asked me to share some of my tips on how to make your hot nights easier! I hope you enjoy! :)

The first thing I do before I go to bed is to open my air condition. And because I have three little cats living with me, so opening up my windows is not a question (did that once, woke up and my cats were sitting outside my window, luckily they didn't fell down!). I usually just open it for 30 minutes before I sleep just so that my room feels cooler.

It's also very important to have light sheets because it will make you feel more cooler than with winter sheets. Also I got rid of my duvet so I am just sleeping with cover sheet. ( You can also put your sheets in the freezer for a little while before you go to bed but just don't forget them :p) Parachute has some really nice sheets for summer time (and for the autumn time as well for you guys who live in colder countries).

I also tend to have my shutters closed so that the sun wont get in and make my room even hotter. Lightning up a fresh candle makes your air feel fresh too and it's always nicer to go to sleep with fresh air! Also I do have a glass of water or bottle next to me just in case I feel thirsty (also water makes you feel cooler ! )

IM BACK!

Hello friends!

Long time no see hu? Well I'm so sorry for dissapearing like that but it just I had so much going on with my life with my friend coming to Cyprus, work and school, but now my first exams are over (which btw went much better than I thought, I passed them all!!) and since my school does not continue for like in 10 days I decided to come back and start blogging again! I do have so much material and pictures waiting to get published and I am really excited to be able to write again!! :) 

I had off today from work so I went to my bf's pool! It has been so hot today even tho it's quite windy outside but the wind is really warm and not helping with the heat!! But I'm so happy that it's summer, because it's my favorite time of the year! I've already swum in the ocean once and it was really cold :D But my family is coming here in few weeks and I'm so excited about it and it also means I get to go to swimming pools and beach more often, yay! :)

@ Dassoudi Beach

As I mentioned yesterday, I was having holidays down in Limassol when my family came here. During their stay we went 2 times to the beach and for me it was first time this year when I had to chance to swim,relax and tan!! The water was warm and so refreshing ! I really like Dassoudi beach (it's situated in the tourist area in Limassol, behind Pizza hat!) because the water is clean and there's toilets and restaurant near if you need them. It was also quite there because it's kind of "off season" (as my aunt says) now here in Cyprus. Sunbeds were cheap, they were only 2€/bed, which is cheaper than 2 years ago, when they were 3€!

My Summer so far

Hey guys!!

How are you all doing? I'm so sorry for not posting!! I've been super buys and literally I haven't had any extra time! I have been working, my boyfriend was here for three weeks ( he left one week ago ) and I started gym and exercising! This is the first time I am actually excited about working out! I really want to get that dream body of mine, but don't worry, I won't be turning my blog into fitness blog. 

So far my summer has been great! I've been spending my time with my family and friends. I've had few bigger celebrations that I attended to. I've watched a lot of football (for those of you who don't know I am a massive football fan!!).  But the best thing was defo when my boyfriend came here. I missed him so much and seeing him after 6 months was really the best thing ever!! Those three weeks that we spent  together were amazing. But hey only 2 months and I am moving back to Cyprus so everything's okay! It's not that far away :) 

Anyways enough said, let the pictures speak now!

Shine bright like a diamond

Hello friends!! 
I've had quite a busy weekend ! I will tell you later more about it, but first things first, here is my outfit that I wore on Thursday! I really like this outfit, it's bright and comfy! As you can tell, I like to wear comfortable clothes a lot! 

I got my top from Gina Tricot! I already have four same tops, all in different color and print of course! These tops are nice to wear and I love the colors! Actually this is the same top I was wearing few weeks back in another outfit post, but that was just bright pink and this is more like coral. And they are only under 8 euros! 

I really really love these jeans. I got them from Top Shop last winter and ohh boy, I don't wear any other jeans anymore!! They fit me perfectly! I am thinking about getting them in another color too, but since we don't have Top Shop in Finland I probably have to wait until I move to Cyprus and get them then!!  I have to wear jeans at work and the thing I love about my jeans is that even tho they are skinny jeans, I can still roll my pant legs up a little bit when needed!

I just got these shoes last week and I love them! I've always wanted a shoes like these, because I love leopard print!! And they look so cute! I got them from H&M and they were only like 15 euros! Not bad!

Day at the beach

Hello friends! 
I had a day off from work yesterday and I have to admit that it was probably one of the funniest and most relaxed day I've had in a while! I woke up at 9 am and went straight to a morning walk. After that I studied for my entrance exams for a while and then went to the beach with my friends! It was so hot outside! Great day to have off! I wanted to try the water, how cold it is, but it looked too cold for me so I didn't try it ! Maybe next time! :) Now I got to get ready for work!
