My make-up essentials

Hey friends! So today I wanted to share with you guys my make-up essentials. All of these products have found their way to my make-up bag and most of these I have bought over and over again when they have emptied! Face :  Lumene CC foundation; The reason I love it so much is because it's feels so light in your skin but at the same time it gives you the right coverage plus you wont be left with spots and color differences because it will blend with your own skin color! Plus it has SPF 20 :) This is actually my 3rd bottle! :)  Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation; This is also a light foundation and has SPF 15 in it, which is great! It gives you fresh look and will brighten your face ! Lumene concealer; This is actually the first concealer I have tried and I fell in love with it so much.  I have really dark circles under my eyes and I was positively surprised how well this works! It gives me good coverage and I am actually having my 3rd tube at the moment! The negative thing is that they don't sell this here in Cyprus so I have to wait that my friends and family comes here so they can bring it to me with them! Rimmel Stay Matte Powder; This is defo the best powder I have tried (with low money). I've been using this powder for years now and I wouldn't change it ! It's only 6euros and will last for a while so yeah, I highly recommend this one! Nivea soft moisturizing cream;  Again this is one of the products I have been using for years and I wouldn't change this cream because it really softens my skin and moisturizes it! LIPS:  Yves Saint Laurent Lip gloss in a shade 4 Fuchsia Vermeil ; Best lip gloss I've used. It's so smooth and lasts long time! also gives you a nice shine and it smells delicious!  Tanya Burr lip gloss, Afrodite ; I usually don't like red lip glosses but this one is an exception! It doesn't give you the bright red effect, it's lighter and this one too, it lasts long and is not sticky!  Maybelline Baby Lips ; I bet you've all heard about these goodies here! I have all the shades available in Cyprus and Finland plus I got the ones with black tube from Feelunique and once again I got all the shades available! I just love these lip palms they are so moisturizing and the ones with color they actually looks really nice on your lips! Love them! Bourjois lipstick; I'm not a lipstick girl but I love Bourjois' lipsticks! They last on your lips and they give you a nice moisture at the same time! Highly recommend!  EYES:  Maybelline Volume Express mascara; I've been very happy with this mascara and I have been using this for maaany years! It makes my lashes look longer and thicker and it stays all day without making your under eyes look dark! And I have the non waterproof version but I got to say even when it rains this will stay on! So yeah I really recommend this one! And it's lump free :)  H&M eyebrow liner; This is surprisingly good if you think that it costs less than 2 euros! I have been using this one for years and I am so happy with the way it makes my eyebrows look like!  So there you go guys, my favorite beauty products that I keep purchasing over and over again! My friend had a birthday party last Saturday and we were very lucky because it was Valentine's Day and Mascara make up store in Limassol arranged free professional make up! That was my first time in real professional make up and I really liked it! Wish I could have someone every day to do my make up ;p Also it was a nice change for my make up routine, since I really don't know how to put nice eyeliner nor do I have courage to try something new, and the make up they made me on Saturday was totally unusual for me, it was really brave and darker and I just loved it. Especially my eyes, she made them look really nice and now I need to learn how to put eyeliner by my self also :) !

This is the only good picture of me and my outfit! My outfit was really a last minute thought but I really liked it!! I was wearing my leather look a like leggins, long cardigan, my jeffrey campbell shoes and short sequin top!

First impression : Four Reasons Brown Hair Powder

Okay so I think all the brunettes out there can relate with me when I say that finding the right hair powder is though job, since most of them tend to leave lighter color on your hair and it just doesn't look right. Well, to be honest, I've used hair powder only few times in my life because of this. I don't want to look like I'm having some dandruff or something on my head.  Few weeks ago I saw a post on Facebook about this new hair powder that is for brunettes! I was like "oh god I really need to get this". And I did. I saw this product in one hair salon. There were two sizes, small and big one, but just to make sure I wasn't wasting any money I went with the small one. The product is called Four Reasons Brown Hair Powder. I think it's a Finnish product and I have no idea if they sell Four Reasons in other countries, but I love their products, they are my favorites. 

I really didn't know what to expect so I was really positively surprised when I tried this for the first time. It actually works. My hair actually looks fine. So yes. I am in love with this product. Usually hair powder is white or whitish and that's why it doesn't look so good with dark hair, but this one, it's actually brown!!! So yes it's perfect for my hair. It really does what it says. It makes my hair look thicker and removes all the oiliness from my hair!! I really recommend this to everyone!! I am even going to get the bigger bottle because I doubt that I will find this product from Cyprus.  Okay so how do you use this product ? It's pretty easy.  Okay so here are the positive and negative things for this product :  + The brown color pigment which makes it even with your hair tone. + It makes your hair look smooth and thick + removes the oiliness  + does not make your hair look like you have dandruff or other rubbish! - it smells quite strong - because of  the brown color, if you spray it on anywhere else than your hair it will be quite a mess. 

So yes, this has defo became one of my favorite hair products. In Finland, the small bottle is 3.90 on sale and the big one 9.90 on sale. I think the real prices are 5.90 and 11.90 ( I'm really not sure about these!! :p ) If you know any other good hair powders for brunettes, please leave a comment down below so I can possible try those out too! :) Love, Stella

My very first Chanel

And no it's not a bag (gosh I wish haha!) but it's a lipstick. (And I kind of bought it by accident.) I've been craving for ages to try out some Chanel's make ups, since I've heard so much positive things about them and how good they are. Chanel is defo my favorite brand and one day I will actually have one of their bags but until them, I can buy their make-ups since they are something I can afford to ( well okay, they are expensive too but anyway).

I got the colour Rouge Allure 95 Enjouee

Ok so here's how I got it by accident. I went to our local mall little bit earlier before my work because I knew there would be sales, and I actually saw one jacket on the paper that I wanted. Well, I didn't get my jacket and since I still had plenty of time I decided to go check out what kind of offers does one beauty store have to offer. Well, I saw one table there and noticed that it had some Chanel and YSL and Dior products on sale. At first I saw some Chanel lipsticks but then I thought I wont actually need one. I already left the table once but then for some reason I went back and there it was. The most perfect lipstick I've ever seen. On sale. And it was Chanel. This is my chance, I thought, it was like destany had brought it to me, so I had to get it. And even tho it still was kind of expensive (especially for me since I NEVER buy anything that is too pricey) it was 24.50 EUROS on sale, normal price was 44 EUROS, I got it. I've been looking for the right lipstick for a while now, since I really don't own one yet and this was the perfect opportunity for me to get one. And no I still don't regret getting it. It's perfect. I wanted to try it today and I only put it little bit, and it lasted ALL DAY. Like seriously, normally they won't last at all, especially if you drink much or eat, but this one it lasted all day and I was positively surprised.

 

So, if anyone of you is looking for the perfect lipstick, I highly recommend getting Chanel's. I know I will get another Chanel make-ups as soon as I get my first salary haha!

Stella's Beauty Tip: Homemade footbath

Hello readers!

I don't know about you, but my legs, especially my heels, gets really dry in the winter time. Today I got this great idea to try a homemade footbath with seasalt and guess what, it really worked! Now my heels feel super soft and I'm happy.

All you need for this footbath is :
- seasalt
- warm water
- some kind of big bowl or dish where you can fit your feet and the water
- foot file
- foot cream

First thing that I did was removing some dead skin with the foot file. Then I poured some some seasalt into warm water and put my feet there for about 10 minutes.  You can have them in as long as you like (well, not too long haha!) but because this was my first time I wasn't sure about the time. Next time I'll probably have them longer time, tho! I also took some seasalt in my hand and rubbed it on my heels. I took my feet out about 7 minutes after I put them in and I repeated removing dead skin because I noticed that I still had some dead sking on my heels. After that I put my legs back in for a few more minutes. After the bath I dried my feet and put some cream on them and vola, you are done! :)

This is really easy and fast way and I totally recommend it for all of you! :)

New favorite nail polish

Hello there!

I've recently found the most amazing and perfect nail polish! The colour is right for spring/summertime and it's not like the usual nailpolishes! It's the Rimmel Sweetie Crush with the colour 009 Candyfloss cutie. It gives your nails the sugary look and it dries very fast! Especially for me this is the perfect nail polish because I always manage to ruin my nails after I've put some colour on them but with this nail polish, you can't actually see those little mistakes! And it was only 5.65 Euros, so not bad! I totally recommend this one and I am definitely going to buy some other colours as well!

Addiction

Hello lovely readers!

I want to tell you about my addiction.. and no it's not anything bad, like alcohol or drugs, so don't worry haha! My addiction is the Victoria's Secret Strawberry Champagne scent! My dad brought me the Strawberry Champagne set from Thailand, which included the shower gel, body lotion and fragrance mist! And oh my god! They smell D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S when using all three together!! I'm kind of upset that you can't get VS from Finland (or Cyprus). I had always wanted to go VS ever since I first time heard of it and in December my dream FINALLY got true; I travelled to Cyprus via Arlanda (Sweden) and since I had plenty of time before my connection flight I went to VS store and oh my lord was I in heaven!! I ended up buying 2 pairs of underwear, makeup bag and one body lotion. I can do a post about my VS collection at some point. Oh and when I got back from Finland, I flew via Riga (Latvia) and to my surprise they also had VS store!! This time I only got one other body lotion because I knew my dad will get me something from Thailand.

So if you ever have the chance of going to Victoria's Secret. DO IT. I know they are a little bit expensive, but they are totally worth it !
